Yay, we woke up early enough for $1 breakfast today.

A college (Mary and Sopha) friend was coming to Hawaii today so we didn't go anywhere. We kept ourselves busy with tv and reading until she got here.

She delivered my prescription sunglasses, so now things won't be blurry when I have sunglasses on.

Gordon and I looking like badasses, and Sopha reflecting off of Gordon's lens.

Candid shot of us heading out to Waikiki.

We separated to find lunch and regrouped to eat it. I got my food from this place.

I had a loco moco and a coke.

Those guys had teriyaki and rice plates.

After lunch, we continued walking down the Waikiki beach area. This is us in the gazebo area.
OMG, we actually saw fishes swimming in the enclosed shore area (the water with very little wave action because there's a wall blocking it). I'm pretty sure we saw at least 3 species.

This is us on the walk back toward our hotel. I got thirsty so we dropped into an ABC store to grab a drink.

We took a different route on our return journey. This lead us through the King's Village shopping center.

Here's me getting comfortable with a new buddy (in public).

Here's Gordon and I looking cool and comfortable with our new buddy (in public... with tons of Japanese tourists looking at us).

Some candid shots inside King's Village shopping center.

Our return route also passed by the International market place.

After that, a guy on the street gave us a flyer, which tempted us to go here to grab an icee/icecream/fruit.
We got back to our hotel and decided to rest our legs a bit until the dinner hours.

Coffeebean? HELL NO!

Headed off again towards Waikiki to find dinner. Along the way, we stopped by McDonald's to introduce Mary and Sopha to banana pie!

While walking around Waikiki for dinner, we went into an arcade area where Mary changed into something that was much better than what she was wearing earlier. Sopha and Gordon saw this and decided to follow suit. Mary is a trend setter? I wouldn't go so far as to say that. =P

Looks like Sopha and Mary found a new friend.

Looks like I found someone who's more than just a friend.
