Today we're off for another hiking trip, this time it's off to Waimea Valley to find the waterfall that Lost films at. We're also headed to Matsumoto for shaved ice and Sunset beach to watch the sun set.

Silly pinay on the way to the bus stop.

We didn't have to wait very long before the bus for Northshore came.

We got to the Matsumoto area, but stranded a little bit because of a very nice distraction (2 bikini-claded-in-the-middle-of-a-photoshoot kind of very nice distraction). We went to a nearby souvenir shop as our alibi to walk by them. I bought two very cool gifts, then we went to a pizza shop for lunch.

After the food break, we resumed our walk to Matsumoto's shaved ice!

Another bus ride and we're at Waimea Valley.

It was about a half mile walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the Waimea Valley trail.
We eventually go to the entrance of the trail, but they were closed and there were no signs of our two companions. We freaked out... At the time, we thought they couldn't have gone in because it was closed and there was no where else they could go because other than the entrance, it was a deadend. Could they have turned back and we missed each other? We walked all the way to the bus stop to look for them, asking people if they've seen two short asian girls. They weren't there, so we walk all the way back to the trail entrance, thinking they might have been kidnapped the entire time. Still no signs of them. So Gordon stayed in that area while I jogged back to the bus stop (just in case). Still no signs of them, so I jogged back to the trail entrance, still asking everyone we passed by and looking inside cars. I had a bad stomach ache the entire time, so I went to use the restroom while we waited near the trail entrance (just in case they did get in, even though it was closed). I came out to see Gordon, Mary, and Sopha waiting for me. Apparently they were the last two who were allowed in before the gates were closed. AHHHH!

After Waimea Valley, we were suppose to go to Sunset beach, but the sun was setting sooner than we wanted it to. So we went to the closest beach, Waimea beach, to catch the sunset. As we sat and took pictures, I caught sight of a whale bursting out of the water (feeding I think). I pointed it out to the group and bam! It did it again! We saw a whale emerge from the water and then blew water out of its blow hole!!! Plus it was a gorgeous sunset.

I got bored while waiting at the bus stop, so I started taking pictures and playing with the different modes on my camera.

Look at these ballers.

Today was a very big day, but it's not over yet. After getting back to the hotel, we changed and went to a bar called Senor Frog and joined Mary's roommate and her cousins (who's also on a Hawaii trip for spring break) for drinks. I had a scooby snack, SoCo and lime, and a pina colada. It was a fun night.
You may have noticed that there were some pictures with a spam masubi in them. Gordon wanted to do a game where blog-readers can hunt for the masubi. See if you can find them in these pictures (some are pretty obvious while others are hardly there).

Hahahaha, the best post so far! I love picture hunt, great idea.
