Woke up at 5:20am because Mary and Sopha had to be out of here at 6am to catch their shuttle to the airport. Their flight was at 7:30am. These two pictures are all I dare to take with my water-logged camera.Gordon and I went back to sleep until 10:30, then we did laundry and ate breakfast (I had leftover Chili's and Gordon bought a pork plate lunch).
We stayed in the room until ~4pm, at which time we headed off for Ala Moana beach. We were harassed by 2 homeless/drunk people on the walk there, but other than that, it was a nice beach day (a little on the colder side since we took off so late). Neither of us went in the water, but we both had a nice relaxing lay-in-the-sand experience.
We went to Ross afterward to return some really crappy speakers that Gordon bought earlier in our trip. No trouble there.
Had a burrito for dinner while Gordon ate from Curry House.
Then it was back to the hotel to catch up on my blogging, work on logistics (where to stay for the last 3 days of our trip), and sketch out a plan for the rest of the week.
