Day 21: McDonalds breakfast and Ala Moana beach and Ross and Don Quixote and watched the sunset

Today started a little later than normal. We got out at 10am and went for a McDonalds breakfast (The other 3 had a stomach ache from yesterday's $1 breakfast).

Then it was back to the hotel to get ready for a beach day at Ala Moana beach. Mary bought an innertube/lifesaver from an ABC store.

It was a nice day to be at the beach (though only the super shallow parts of the water were clear, and it was a little windy).

We got hungry and took off for the Ala Moana mall's food court. Gordon and I had Curry House while Mary and Sopha ate Steak and Fish Company.

After filling our bellies, we went to Ross and Don Quixote super market. Gordon bought a shirt and Sopha bought a pair of shoes from Ross. Then Mary and Sopha had fish waffle from a shop connected to Don Quixote.

Afterward, it was back to Ala Moana beach to catch the sunset.

This was another beautiful evening. It was cool because a group of 3 FOB couples sat right next to our group (also there to check out the sunset).

Bad part of today... water went into my camera's LCD screen and now it's not working (only white light when I turn it on). Oh well, worth it. I'll try to read some forums later to see if it can be fixed at home. If not, hopefully it's still under warrenty. It still takes pictures, the only problem is I can't see what I'm aiming at (only an LCD screen, no manual viewing hole). So this probably means no more pictures for the rest of our Hawaii trip.

  1. NOoooo, what's the camera model? I'll help find a fix! I demand pictures, even if they're not pointed properly, hehe.
